Dave Miller.
This is a shot I took last May in Padley Gorge, which is in Derbyshire about 10 miles south of the city of Sheffield.
The woods through which Burbage Brook runs consists mainly of beech trees at the lower end changing through oak in the middle to silver birch at the top where the woods give way to open moorland. For this shot I was just above the beech line and getting into the oak area. The day was a mixture of sunshine and showers, and very windy, although down by the stream I was protected from the worst of it.
Hardware used was my tripod mounted Mamiya 330s fitted with an 80mm lens and infrared filter, a Heliopan 780.
I used Maco 820c infrared 120 roll film which was developed in Prescysol EF for 8 minutes. Exposure was 8 seconds at f22.
