"I have been interested in photography from a very early age, and set up
my first darkroom in 1987 to make both colour and monochrome prints. I have
no formal education in photography or art in general, but find I can make satisfying images more or less intuitively. My speciality is landscape, mostly in monochrome, and I print using traditional chemical methods to achieve the highest print quality.

More recently I have been experimenting with a pinhole camera and using lith' methods to print the results, which gives a distinctive look. I like formal elements in my compositions so many of them have a geometric look to them."

"On a winter walk near my home I was attracted by the two trees appearing as one, together with the little barn. In the summer this looks like one big tree!
Here I used my Olympus XA compact, and Ilford HP5+ film."
