Sand #4, Big Sur.

Les had his first book, Creative Black and White Photography published in October 2002. It proven to be very popular, and his second book is now in the planning stage.

"I always enjoy photographing patterns in the sand. This image was made on Pheiffer Beach on the Big Sur coast of California using the last light as the sun was setting across the Pacific Ocean. I used 120 Ilford Delta 100 developed in ID11, and the negative was scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. The final print will be made in the darkroom using traditional materials".
