An Explaination.

Pathway to Monochrome.
This is an opportunity for one, or sometimes two, of our members to share their thoughts, experiences, handiwork, and aspirations with regard to Monochrome Photography. They may range far and wide (and usually do) on the subject that is the basis of their hobby and of our group. Riveting entertainment; honest!

Assignment and Critique.
Members are encouraged to get out and take photographs that they feel illustrates the evenings theme. They are invited to present a selection on the evening, and explain their the technique and intentions. The pictures are discussed, and criticism offered. It's an interchange of ideas and information in an open forum, that's usually very helpful.

Practical Sessions.
Just that, hands on photography in the meeting hall. The results normally form the basis of a future Assignment and Critique evening. Don't forget to bring plenty of film, or an empty digital memory card. A camera will come in handy as well.
